To help your swimmer know where to be and when, we HIGHLY encourage you to grab a sharpie the morning of the meet, and using the heat sheet for that day's meet, determine what events they will be in, their heat for each event, and their lane for each event. Mark their arm with three columns, titled H (Heat) E (Event) and L (Lane) and put in the corresponding numbers for each event, listed out in numerical order by event.
We promise, this WILL wash off, in fact it will be mostly gone by the end of the meet!
