Lake Ridge Lancers

At this time, please do not register a swimmer for the Lil Lancer or Jr Lancer Developmental Programs without approval from the Head Coach. The Lake Ridge Lancers Swim Team (LRL) has been a part of the Lake Ridge community since the 1970s. Our team is small, seasonal, and competitive. We value family and character above all else. Our meets are intense but filled with lots of dancing on deck to old and new tunes, great food, and a supportive atmosphere.

Our swimmers are encouraged to have fun as well as learn through activities like water polo for teens and age-group activities outside of the pool to encourage team bonding. We are not affiliated with a Homeowners Association so swimmers from Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, and adjacent areas are welcome. 

LRL participates as a member of the greater Prince William Swim League (PWSL). Each summer, the Lancers provide opportunities for swimmers 18 years & under to participate in one of three programs: the competition team, Jr. Lancers or Lil’ Lancers. The competition team is for members who possess the minimum PWSL requirements for competitive swimmers, while Jr. Lancers & Lil’ Lancers are geared towards developing the skills & techniques need to reach those requirements. Competition seasons begin at the end of May and run through the end of July.
