Good evening Lake Ridge Lancer Families,

I just wanted to take a minute to remind you all about our Team Pool Party/Potluck Tuesday night (7/21) from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. In addition to spending some time together this last week or swimming, we are also going to take about 15-20 minutes or so to hold our annual meeting. In years past we would hold this during our year end awards program while dismissing the kids for a snack. Recognizing that this night can be a long night, especially for our younger swimmers, last year we made it a little shorter by taking the annual meeting out of it, and holding it during our Team Pool Party/Potluck, which proved to be very successful.

As we will be outside and without a projector, I will send out a brief slide presentation on Sunday night that I will be speaking about, so be on the lookout for that. We will hold this in the large pavilion after everyone has had a chance to get some food. Please feel free to bring your chairs if you would like and if possible have at least one member of your family attend. Holding this meeting is a requirement for us to maintain our 501c status. Again, I don’t expect this to be a long meeting.

Thank you for all your support to the Lake Ridge Lancers Swim Team, we have had a great year and just need to go out there this Saturday and win out last home meet and then next Saturday at Divisions and win it all! Or at least have a great time trying!
